Schedule

The Schedule

We realise that time is money, so the course runs for a total of 6 weeks, with only one session a week lasting 2 hours. On completion of this course, students would have covered an introductory level to all six tools.

Don't worry, the course is designed to empower entrepreneurs with enough knowledge to take each tool further in their own time. Alternatively, one-2-one support is provided on a Pay As You Go basis.

No prior knowledge of the tools are needed, neither is it necessary to be technically proficient. All budding entrepreneurs and established businesses are welcome.

Week 1

BUSINESS PLANNING & FORECASTING


Students will initially sign up for the 14 day trial (no credit card needed). On completion of the 2 hour session, students would have built a business model using an industry tried and tested canvas technique. They would also be able to preview and download their business plan in a format suitable for sharing. Other features of the cloud-based tool will also become familiar.

week 2

WEB DESIGN & HOSTING

Students will initially register with a free account (no credit card needed). On completion of the 2 hour session student would have created a website page customised to fit with their own businesses value proposition. Students would have also learnt how to customise elements to transform their ideas into a professional looking website... Without writing a line of code!

WeeK 3

CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT (CRM)

Students will initially register with a 30 day free trial (no credit card needed). On completion of this 2 hour session, students will be able to know how to create a customer and follow it through the sales process. They will also know how to customise the different levels in the sales process and produce reports for statistical analysis. Many other feature will be covered.

WeeK 4

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

Students will initially set themselves up with a free months trial. On completion of this session, many of the main features would have been covered, like explaining the dashboard, bank reconciliation, invoicing, expense claims, purchase orders, standard & flat rate VAT reporting and finally viewing many of the different financial reports the tool offers.

WeeK 5

DATA STORAGE

Once each student has signed up for the free basic version, many uses of this tool will be demonstrated. On completion of this session, students will know how to share screens shots and files quickly, add comments on files, view any file without installing extra software, keep files safe, use selective sync to save space...This is just some of what students will be able to achieve.

WeeK 6

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT

Students will initially register for a free basic account. On completion of this session, students would have learned the powerful features available with this tool to manage their social media efforts. Such as; mapping social media workflows to manage tasks and assignments, respond or create one message across multiple social media platforms. Other features will also be covered.

SCHEDULED ONE-2-ONE TRAINING

Typically entrepreneurs would join the group courses before having a one-2-one session. Either way, everyone is welcome! The sessions are delivered within a cafe style environment at one of our venues in Brighton, East Sussex, UK. They are on-demand courses and are designed to be dynamic in the sense of us helping entrepreneurs get the most from any of the six powerful cloud-based solutions we recommend.
